Does anyone have a concrete information about when you can (how many months earlier) dispose your Owner’s Choice Bmw? One BMWFS associate told me anytime within the last six months, another said only after I made the last payment (last month), local dealer told me within the last 120 days. This is confusing. I know that I will be liable to pay the remaining payments and that is not my concern. If you can provide any input on how early I can return the vehicle, that will be great.
You shouldn’t make that assumption. It’s possible you can sell your car to one of those Vroom type startups for less negative equity than your remaining payments.
Thanks for the suggestion but both the trade-in and sell to 3rd part prices are thousands less than the balloon payment. Therefore, those are not good options.
