Discount vs. Dealer Incentive vs. Dealer Cash

Dealer sent me an initial lease sheet for a Q50 as follows:

MSRP $44,270
Discount $5,705
LOYALTY $1,000
Winter Bonus $2,000

Is the Dealer Incentive or Dealer Cash baked into that Discount amount of $5,705 or is now the time to tell him that i’m aware of about $4,600 in Dealer Incentives? I also have VPP that i havent mentioned yet.

You can be sure they’re including it in the discount if it’s not listed separately.

The only person who knows this answer is the dealer. Also it appears that VPP is a set program so all of other rebates and dealer cash might not matter.

So basically they are just discounting me $1100 and the rest are incentives etc…

Looks that way.

Can you provide the snippet of the lease sheet? Only way to know is to see it line by line.

Here you go. The $3,700 is attributed to me turning in my current Q50 6 months early plus overage of miles.

I mean… 35565 = MSRP - all the discounts (5705+1000+2000)

Looks like they are discounting the car 13% before those other incentives… Right? Also that money factor is HELLLLLLA low. trade payoff kinda kills it though.

It only does if they’re not burying some rebates in the “discount” number. If there is $4600 in dealer incentives not shown, they’re really only discounting the car $1100. 2.5% off pre-incentive, not 13%.

but the effective discount is 20% overall? Is that not a good number for infiniti’s?

regardless need more info because with thos enumbers I dont come up with 560 no matter which way i addd the incentives/ taxed untaxed and the trade payoff.

Effective discount is irrelevant. Incentives vary by person, region, etc. It’s pointless to compare post-incentive discounts.

Looks about right if you put in $1500 down, not $1500 DAS

ah gracias.

Check in with some of the brokers on the marketplace. or at least look at the deals to get a ballpark

That 44% captive set residual is horrendous so you need a much bigger discount. Independent of your early trade-in which is a whole separate point of negotiation. Get another deal from a couple other dealers before introducing the trade-in and save VPP for the very end when ready to sign papers. Is that a famous Autonation worksheet…
