I know This is seem silly, but I have a question about the drive modes in a Mercedes-Benz. I have always driven automatic cars and I recently leased a Mercedes and noticed that when I’m driving I’ll see D1,D2,D3 etc… up to D9. Never seen it before , so yea … what’s up ?
Maybe you could take a guess? g’wan, a crazy wild guess of what those numbers could be showing as you’re driving along, picking up speed, or decelerating. What would you guess they were?

That, or it’s paying homage to the Mighty Ducks and the disappointment that they stopped at D3 because Charlie Conway had a lot of life and hockey left in him.
But also it’s just the gears.

Derisive mode is when you get the accessory light up MB logo on the front.
Ahhhhhhh I thought it had something to do with the Homeland Security Terrorist Threat Level.
I was always quite scared on the freeway, where it stays D7 for so long!
