Desperate automaker to issue NFT with car purchase

"The Alfa Romeo Tonale SUV is the “first car on the market” to come with an NFT digital certificate, that the Italian automaker says will increase the car’s residual value.

How? Well, that’s not exactly clear, but it involves recording information from the car’s electronic system to the blockchain as proof that a car has been properly serviced when it comes time to sell it."

How many people will understand what a NFT is? This is a silly marketing ploy to get the techy crowd to look into the car.

Marketing - Lets setup something that costs us nothing! and gives the stupid consumer touchy feely vibes…NFTs!

Do you get cash from an ATM machine?

Wild guess.

Well that’s a small amount of power cost.

What can they sell, 10,000 cars? That’s five minutes of bitcoin transactions (If not 1 minute)…hehe

who wants a car called the “Toenail” ?

Oh is that supposed to be “toh-nah-ley”? Looks like “Toenail” to me

Anyway, is this NFT going to result in a higher lease RV? lol
