When you see something like this on a dealers website what does the $1500 Manufacturer Incentive actually mean?

Short answer, it means there’s some form of incentive that you may or may not qualify for being applied.
Long answer, it doesn’t matter as there’s really no good reason to be looking at these dealer calculators. You should already know what incentives are available because you independently verified them by requesting rv/mf/incentives from edmunds at the beginning of your search.

Great question. Over the past month of shopping for a 2022 Kona lease I’ve had some bad experiences with dealers and the $1500 on their site made me think it was just a come on or misrepresentation.
