Dealer market allowances

What is considered dealer market allowance incentives

This is a direct to dealer incentive. Money they get to lower the selling price essentially that is supposed to be transparent to you. Generally it’d be considered an untaxed incentive in the calculator.

AKA dealer cash/trunk money as opposed to customer rebate/money on the hood

In my area dealer only have listed the 7500 lease cash for the Etron no the 4000 market allowance probably trying to put is as dealer discount

That’s exactly how it is meant to be used, as a dealer discount. It wont be advertised. This is how you see 15,20,25% off a vehicle. Realistically MSRP to invoice is very little. The allowances help push the discount further.

Marketing incentives are non customer facing incentive and no obligated to be shown to client.
They are meant to move the market pricing of the vehicle to be more competitive against competition.
The only incentives that customers are entitled to are the ones that you have to sign in the business office. Everything else is what the manufacturers generate to have an overall goal of marketshare and sales figures.
Again, customers are not obligated to receive marketing incentives.
