Dealer Fees (Tinting, Fabric Protection, Nitrogen etc.)

One more for the Hackrs. I really appreciate everything I’ve learned so far.

How do you deal with negotiating away (or down) the bloated dealer fees (tinting, fabric protection, nitrogen)? I’m in North Carolina and it seems that every dealer has these fees and most add up to over $1,000.

What do you say to the dealer to get rid of them (reduce them)? Does, I"m not going to pay them work for anyone?

Is there source to find out which dealers do not have these garbage fees?

Thanks in advance!

If they refuse to remove the full priced charges (some places will add them to the contract) lower the sales price to compensate. The bottom line number is the most important. How you get to it is irrelevant.

You, me and the dealer all know these are not worth anything. Ensure they’re match the selling price of your best deal, so this “garbage” is free.
