:grinning: THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR INPUT & KNOWLEDGE

Numbers don’t add up. According to the calculator, the monthly should be closer to $360/month with tax included and $847 drive-off. Are there any taxable rebates to get to that sales price? Even if there are, it still doesn’t add up.

THANKS FOR REPLYING JON!

I don’t know of any additional rebates being used to be honest. Should I ask the dealer that question? As is, I’m $153 off the recommended drive-off and $35/mo off the recommended monthly payment. With the added free accessories do you think it’s fair? If not, what would you suggest I come back with?

Again, thanks in advance for your time.

Are the “free” accessories worth $1378 to you? Ask them for a complete breakdown of the lease to see all the numbers.

I’ll get the details and circle back as soon as I can.
Great News in the interim!
I just got an offer from another dealer. They’re matching everything at a slightly lower payment of $389/mo.
The $6/mo or $216 over the course of the lease isn’t huge, but they have a strong loyalty like program as well. Complimentary car washes (once per wk), oil & filter changes, and a few other perks that really no other Acura dealer has.

Do you think the monthly payment savings with those perks add up to a good deal? I’ll be contacting the other dealer shortly, what price should I counter their $395/mo with perhaps?

unless you’re a big fan of paint swirls I’d avoid having the dealer wash your car like the plague.

One of the dealers sent me the numbers directly from his screen.
I wish I could’ve uploaded but the file is too big for the platform.

@Jon I see an error in my original numbers, i put the money factor incorrectly; adjusted below

Here’s the complete breakdown

MSRP: $40,345.00
Sell Price: $32,880.96
12k miles / 36 months
m.f.- .00081 (not .00018)
residual: 55%
drive-off: $1000
Govt Fees: $363.75
Taxes: $1,201.17
Doc Fee: $80

monthly payment: $387.14

With the money factor adjustment, do the numbers make more sense? What calculator do you use by the way?

@HerrDoktorProfessor Duly noted. Any thoughts on the lease numbers?

I think that is a good deal since I was heavily looking for one last month and closest I came for the same car was $415 for 36/12k. Mine was for AWD. Is the one you are quoting AWD?

@kwarden13 thanks for responding knowing you’ve shopped this particular SUV.

Mine is 4wd. The AWD residualized works out to an added $30/mo according to the dealer. If accurate, that would bring my $387/mo right around your deal, coming in at $417

Knowing such, do you still consider it a good deal or is there room to capture additional savings?

Looking at old posts people have gotten the base model for 345-355ish on here (a lot of them 10k miles) which is about 2k cheaper than the MSRP of yours. The number theyre giving you seems to line up with those well considering the extra package and miles. Maybe someone knows something to squeeze more money out of them but the price seems pretty good to me after some forum searching.

@purz THANKS FOR THE ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK!!!
I’m using the latest $387/mo offer to see if the 1st dealer that offered at $395/mo will counter lower. We’ll see!!
And like you said, if anyone knows something to squeeze more feel free to chime in.

That was the best any dealer near me could do, so if you really want the car it is a good deal. I live in MD where they tax on the full sales price. I was really trying to get below $400 and couldn’t so gave up on Acura.
