Was told MF is .00450 (and that the MF is non negotiable - is that true?) …and 55% residual.
I definitely do NOT want 54 or 60 months…I wanted 36 months but they said this is the only way to get it as close to $1000 as possible.
QUESTIONS:
-thoughts on the deal
-anything you would go back to them with after reviewing this
-IS it possible to lease this car for 1,000 or less in CA Bay Area??
Even a “good deal” on this vehicle will be a very ugly lease. It’s a pay to play car, and as @gohawks23 said, this is a write a check for it car or traditional finance if this is really what you want.
Tell them remove the “dent protection” and “appearance protection” bs and just finance this. The dealer discount looks pretty aggressive. They are making it back on that BS dealer add on stuff. If you truly can afford a car like this, you can afford to have a dent or 2 taken out of it if something like that happens.
Not to parrot what everyone said above, but this isn’t a lease hackable car. You’ll pay $76.5k over 54 mo and then if you want to buy it outright you have the pleasure of playing another 51k (55% residual).
Have the dealer take off the crap “protections”, PPF it yourself if you feel the need, and finance it.
Also, no. This is not leasable at under $1k/mo anywhere.
No a sub 1k lease will not be possible on this. This is a buy car, either new or used (i dont think they changed it in a few yrs, can probably find a CPO if you wanted).
If youre stuck on a coupe SUV, x6 has more favorable terms, at least for the 40i, but itll still be over 1k/month.
