Looks pretty terrible to be honest even for VA taxes. But dealer is adamant it the best he can do. Might have to sign it, wife’s car - not much flexibility on options. Will add MSDs, but does not change the picture overall.

Yikes. Look at a GLE53 for that price but I guess pull ahead is what got you sucked in

Has to be XC90

That sucks. Guess we know who wears the pants in the family :rofl::rofl:

You don’t have to lease a $93k Volvo if the payment doesn’t seem right to you. Tell your wife there are other cars.

Grow some?

You can just buy a 1-2 year old xc90 and have a lower payment. I was thinking getting one myself like a 22-23 r design. Only xc90 I’ll drive now lol

Tempted to mark this answer as the solution;)

On a serious note though, I do have some flexibility to wait. Sounds like Volvo programs are not as good as I hoped for. Building my own sheet now to play around numbers a bit.

Wait for Costco to come back if you have it

Not a bad idea, probably in the current market.
Red and bursting blue ones are the best. I am not sure, though, if R-design was still around on 22-23 models.

I do yes, along with penfed and all the good stuff. That’s a good point.

They had t8 r design up to 2023 from what i see, id look into it. They all under $45k

I am not sure about 2023 T8 being a good idea, considering it is off warranty. For used one if I were to buy, I would stick to non-PHEV versions T6/B6

For $45k I’d rather buy an X5, though it won’t be as loaded.

True I enjoy the xc90 for what it is.

Does the air ride make it better? Xc90

Volvo xc90 air suspension > bmw x5

To me

The Volvo had a more relaxed ride

The Volvo seats were way more comfortable

If I was in a slalom course - I’d pick the BMW. But driving to dinner or with kids in the car. I always grabbed the Volvo keys. And the bursting blue paint on the R design - still my favorite!

EX90 would be a much better deal, if she is open to an EV
