Deal Check "updated" 2021 Ram Laramie

Looking at a 2021 Ram Laramie Night Edition MSRP $62,900 in NE OHIO. I have owned several Rams and pricing/payments are always all over the place when shopping. My Tax rate is 8% and I need 10k per year. I can only assume end of year lots of “hidden incentives” any idea where I should be landing on a good lease deal for 39 mo?? Credit is 850. What kind of price on the truck, what kind of lease incentives.

Welcome to the site. Your best bet here is to start by gathering rv/mf/incentive information for your zip code from edmunds and then researching a target pre-incentive discount price based on deals posted here. You can then use that information to determine what your target payment, as it applies to your situation, would be. The leasing101 section at the top of the page will help guide you through that process.

I have a very good idea on the price of the truck pre incentives. The problem is with the incentives is that all say…“may not be combined” see dealer. Plus there is always end of year hidden cash. Without knowing what can and can’t be used its hard for me to get a cap cost of where I should be?

That’s where verifying rv/mf/incentive information with Edmunds helps

There have been some RAM deals shared … start there.

What are your thoughts. I also have 1500 in negative included in this deal

That MF translates to almost 4% when i convert it to a APR i wouldn"t want to pay interest on that I would pay that in cash. You have to pay negative equity one way or another and if i’m calculating this correctly it’s adding almost $45 bucks to monthly payment.

So does that mean the lease as a whole is no good or that I should just pay the negative in cash?

@Tommycin For that MSRP i would say its a decent deal pay the negative in cash that should put your payment in mid 4s tell the dealer to remove the negative from the equation and re compute your payment.

Are you dealing with Falls Motor City?

No I am not…they were unwilling to help me on my last lease so I didn’t even contact them this time. I had leased from them before though. This is my 5th Ram
