- Total cost of the lease seems a lot for this trim. I plan on checking in with another dealer before taking a second crack on this one.
Seems? Compared to what? Other deals you have seen for this car here or on the net? Find out what a good discount should be and alter calc for that selling price/incentives and see if a dealer will bite on that target payment near you.
Is this lease through a third-party lender? The residual seems higher than what Subaru Motor Finance (Chase) offers, which helps lower the payment!

Thanks @gohawks23 I will be getting another quote from a different dealer this evening.
The idea is to actually be smarter than the dealer and know your numbers and have your own target payment/DAS calculated and see if dealer will match. Otherwise how do you know if a dealer quote is ‘good’? At that stage you are just comparing dealer quotes…
