Deal Check: Range Rover Velar

It seems like these Velar leases are pretty terrible but wanted a second opinion. Leasing options are limited to me in Vegas so I am trying to find so-cal dealers that will facilitate out of state leases:

Lease: 39 months/10k miles/yr.
MSRP: $73k
Selling Price: $62,500
Payment: $1068
Drive Off: $1,500
MF: .00389
Residual: 51%

what’s the discount , and (938*39)+3K = $39,582
That’s over half of the car selling price.

Sorry, I was looking at the wrong page punching in my numbers. Edited it

It is indeed terrible.

Seems like all Land Rover leases are pretty horrendous currently. I’ll have to start checking out other brands as my lease end is coming up very soon on my current Land Rover

I bet it’s as bad as the current LR leases.

Even worse when you factor in a fourth year of registration for those last 3 months. In CA you need a lease term divisible by 12

It was pretty good at the time (beginning of 2021) $0 down, 10k miles, 39mo, $488/mo for a Discovery Sport R-Dynamic.

Yes, you’re right on that. I am actually based in Vegas, so my leasing options are very limited. Very few CA dealers are willing to facilitate an out of state lease.

Yeah, but what was the MF? And Disco Sport doesn’t count lol

It was very cheap back then in regards to MF. Don’t recall the exact number but it for sure had 4 “0’s”
