Hi guys,

Can you help me deal check my buying negotiation of a 2025 Toyota RAV4 XLE Premium?

A few questions:

  • How do I find the invoice cost of a car?
  • In calculating MSRP discount, should I include the $999 dealer/doc fee (that is common in Florida)?

Avoid invoice as the bar to beat. instead find what brokers on LH are offering as the yardstick of acquiring R4 XLE.

Florida is a tough market with dealers adding crazy doc fees and southeast toyota addons, so you might need to expand your search area.

Iā€™m not finding many mentions of deals of R4 XLE on here, what do you mean?

Ive seen them amywhere from 650-1250
Its sometimes also called preinspection something or other

Around a 9% discount seems pretty solid on its face, assuming there are no incentives being rolled into that number. As @Contralien said, find numbers from brokers like @Jrouleau426 to use a basis for the discount you are receiving.
