Deal Check - Optiq Sport 2 Courtesy Car

Hi Everyone,

First time really doing this and I’m hoping I’m going about it the right day. I’m looking to get an Optiq 2 in the next few days as I’m switching jobs and losing access to my company provided car.

I’ve started conversations with local dealerships (Michigan) and feel like I’m getting an alright deal but I’m not sure how much room there is to negotiate further.

Looking to do 2 years,15k(ish) miles. No real preference on color or interior. I’m eligible for Costco, conquest, and employee discount

I received the following quote from a dealer today (apologies MF isn’t included)

Seems like an alright deal, but I’ve since had another dealership offer $518 a month so it feels like there may be more room to go down. Anyone have any recommendations? Most leases I seem to see on here are for lower miles and I’m not sure how much the 14/15k miles makes a difference

this seems like a bad deal. dicount for a demo is weak. employee discount, which is this?

It isn’t entirely clear to me which discounts he’s got combined here but I’ve been pushing a bit and landed at this now for 14k miles a year

what company do you work for? a supplier or actually gm?

Actual GM, but from playing around on the Cadillac site it seems like the supplier discount stacks a bit nicer with some of the other rebates

im seeing $2500 employee ev allowance, but it doesnt stack with conquest. yes the supplier stacks more. looks like $6k in rebates. you could also open the gm card and get another $500. i would shoot for 10% off pre incentives and see where they come back at. there seems to be quite a few demos around 200 miles from detroit

Got them down to $499 a month.. going to see if I can get anything further down from here

Depending on what other vehicle you have in your household will determine which route to go with the incentives. If you have a GM car, you can stack your GM employee rebate with Loyalty - $2500+$1000 = $3500. If you have a competitor car, you are better off using the supplier code which gives you $1000 (supplier) + $2000 (conquest cash) = $3000.

If you are able to snag a GM Executive Referral code from one of your GM contacts, that’s going to be the best out of this all where you get $2500 and still qualify for conquest cash = $4500 total.

You can then add any of these combinations to the below generally available incentives -
$2000 Loaner lease cash
$1000 or $1250 Costco incentive
$500 GM card sign up
