Was just sent this offer, based on a credit of 690. He said the numbers were better on 36mo, but they wouldn’t do 36mo with a 690 credit.
I’m more surprised with a 690 they were willing to get you 2100 off.
The payment is high but I suspect you have a Tier 3 credit score.
I 726 (my dad’s credit) would only take it down $21/mo. Need a 740+ and it would drop to $701/mo
I assume this is GT trim. $2000 discount (3%) is very less. You should push for min 8% and some dealer around Denver are providing 11% discount on wind trim (wind is lower trim) and I think I saw 8% on Land and GT. So push for 8-10%.
I don’t think Denver area dealers are seriously offering 11% discount. There’s one in Longmont that advertises an 11% discount on a Wind, but the discount quickly becomes 2-3% when you actually inquire. Dealers in Colorado seem to have more pricing power because of the state incentive
No, if it’s listed on their website then they are honoring, I took the quote couple of months ago and it shows correct discount. Only issue is, they will quote with higher MF as they don’t know the credit score.
Fixed that for you…haha Dealers like money
This dealer in particular includes military and kia loyalty in their “dealer discount.” So they honor their price, but add $1500 to it if you don’t meet those criteria
Discount doesn’t depend on credit score.
Payment is high because OP got quoted.
It’s weird, the overall cost on the GT-Line is only a couple hundred more than what I’m looking at, and with the same $4k down pmts are $150 more. Not sure how that math maths
Money Factor, MF can make a difference of up to $1XX/month. Low Credit Scores would usually raise it and the dealer themselves can raise it even more to get a kickback.
SIGNED! $2k out the door, $703/mo for 36mo!
