Link to offer I got, Update:
I am in Louisiana, so Equinox EVs have good discounts for dealers in the region and I would qualify for Costco incentive, I could do GM card as well to help.
But I do not have lease conquest, a bolt to trade in. Neither me or my wife is a first responder or military.
So, unless I am unaware of other incentives, I could only get 1,250 for Costco, and $500 from the GM card. Seems for the EV might not be hackable for me without more incentives, maybe I am mistaken.
I got a quote from dealer locally for 505 @ .00016 rate. (This was before Costco incentive came back) They were adding on like tire & wheel and something else that totaled around 2,000 dollars but even with those gone not really close to any of the great deals I have seen on the EVs.
I am paying some things off credit wise to try to get to next tier.
With Money factors relatively being equal, the Equinox EV seemed like best option at first with heavy discounts and incentives, the more I look at the CX-30 seems like it will cost us less no matter what compared to Equinox.
The Equinox is just a lot more expensive in comparison even with higher residual the Equinox has, if I am aiming for 8-10% off MSRP of the Mazda and I have 500 or 750 in Loyalty to put towards the vehicle. (Mixed answers on what the amount the loyalty actually is, I think they removed the 750 and only have 500 for the south region.)
The Cap Cost will probably end up several thousand less than the Equinox EV just due to CX-30 starting off with a much lower price even if the Equinox has higher residual. The 2025 CX-30s though have decent residual sitting around 63%.
I think CX-30 would be something we considering buying out to at the end of lease unlike the EV. I understand maybe I already answered my own question, just want some feedback if I am missing something here?
Thanks!
