Deal check on 24 RX350 F sport handling

First time posting

Want to check if I’m getting a good deal

Below is what I got from the dealer
Trading 21 ux250h which I’m leasing currently
My goal is to get under $600/month

Do you have positive equity on the UX? If so, how much of that is being rolling into the deal?

Under $600/mo w/ nothing due at signing? Unless you have a ton of equity in the UX, I don’t know if that’s realistic (based on what I’m seeing for broker ads on lower MSRP RXs in CA).

Is $63K the actual MSRP?

I have positive equity
Trade allowance is 25,000
And my payoff balance is 23,050
So I’m getting 1,950

I’m putting 2,500 down
Here’s the info on MSRP
Delivery Processing and Handling is 1,350
Not sure this is reasonable fee or not

I don’t know, either, but maybe one of the brokers here will see and weigh in (if they know). You are paying DPH of $1350, $699 for tint (which I guess you can have removed?), and $599 for a “service charge.” That seems like a lot of additional charges.

Are you paying $2.5K down ON TOP of the trade equity?

There are cars to lease and there are cars to buy/finance. This is definitely the latter.

$1,350 is from the manufacturer. aka “destination charge.”

It’s part of the MSRP for the vehicle.

From a random Lexus Monroney label:

What rebates are you getting if I may ask ? That’s a lot of rebates.

I don’t know if $600/mth is going to work here. Even with your trade equity plus $2500 cash DAS. I plugged the deal you posted into the calculator and I’m getting $611/month BEFORE TAX. I don’t know your tax rate in GA so I didn’t input that. There is $3500 in lease cash in GA (I plugged an ATL zip into Ratefinder) … so that is part of the line item “rebates/discounts.” After you back $3500 out of that figure it looks like about a 9.5% dealer discount from MSRP. I don’t know how much more aggressive the dealer will go on that. Have you shopped your trade to see if you can maybe get more from Carmax, Carvana, etc? Maybe you can get some more cash that way.

Yes, destination charge is totally legitimate, but is $599 for “service charge” steep (genuine question)?

But, regardless, I don’t think an RX at this MSRP is going to fit OP’s budget.

I’m not really sure
they initially offered me $7,500 rebates earlier this month and I didn’t response
and yesterday they got back to me with better offer for end of month deal

$7500 in rebates or $7500 in a combination of rebates and dealer discount? I didn’t see $7500 in rebates on RateFinder
