I wanted to get the community’s feedback on a deal I received from one of the less problematic dealerships I’ve been working with for a 2026 Corolla LE.
My terms:
- 36 months
- 10,000 miles
- $0 down
- $0 DAS or first month’s payment
- All-in monthly payments
Here’s the proposed deal (I’m in the Washington, D.C. area):
- RV: 66%
- MF: 0.00228
- Market value selling price (dealer’s price): $24,954
- MSRP: $23,135
- Discount: $2,750
- Adjusted price: 22,204
- Total purchase: 22,204
- Doc Fee: $800
- Tax: $82
- Non-tax Fees: 220.00 (I’m assuming this is title/registration, but I’ll check with the dealer)
- Net Price: $23,956
- Acquisition fee: $750
- Balance: $23,956
- Monthly payment: $363 ($394 with GAP insurance)
I do not qualify for any of the current incentives (military or college graduate). I know Memorial Day’s coming up, so I wonder if I could leverage the holiday; I’m also open to other suggestions to bring the price down.
