***I was just offered 5.5% off MSRP at another dealer (calculated when I backed all #'s into the calculator). He offered a big drop to $721/mo, $1,900 down…taxes rolled in.

Not good. Push for a greater discount or check marketplace

Check Edmunds or Rate Finder, I think that rate is marked up. If not lease outside NY and add MSDs.

$831/mo for a C40 is a hard pass.

@Bostoncarconcierge Aren’t you doing a crazy discount on these? Is it open to NY residents?

Thanks, Mike! Our c40s are open to nys.

Also, 630 in the morning on a Sunday, Mike? I’m jetlagged. What’s your excuse?

No bueno. That’s a lot for a C40. I’m on $899 w tax on my 23’ XC90 B6 ultimate with B&W. Signed back in November 2022. Had loyalty/Costco/ a plan. 24/12. Only $1000 out of pocket.

You get jetlagged going the other way. Coming back is just meh

Thank you. On 2/11/23 I did request the MF and Residual via Edmunds. It was .00271 (6.5%) which was higher than the XC40 (4.3%).

Yup, I’m only getting 2.38%, but the dealership’s logic was since the incentives were so high ($10,250), they “usually” take a max of $1K off MSRP, but they’re giving me $1.5K… That didn’t make sense, and of course, with more more research, and on Truecar, it’s clear dealers take more off.

In fact, I was just offered 5.5% off MSRP at another dealer (when I backed the #'s into the calculator). He offered a big drop to $721/mo, $1,900 down…taxes rolled in.

Why are you wasting your time when I’m advertising significantly cheaper deals and you have to do no work?

The car is for my wife; she wanted something small for Manhattan. It was a last minute decision (thus, my lack of research), but I liked the EV so when I do drive it (w/o the baby), it’ll keep up w/my 911 daily driver and looks semi-sporty.

The C40 is not a ‘small’ car. It’s 9" longer than my Kona, but it is smaller than your 911
