Is this for a new or demo unit?
Are incentives included in this deal? If yes, you need to separate it out from the offer. What is the actual dealer discount off MSRP?
What are your mileage terms? What is your tax rate? Are incentives taxed in your state? All this could factor into why your monthly is high? What does the DAS include? Any money down?
How does your offer compare to broker deals in the Marketplace ?
I just signed on a eqs 450+ sedan today msrp was 108k but it was a one pay 24 month lease and 10k miles for $16k
36/10k brand new
I factored the incentives in the discount to save on tax
Discount 21% (23866)
What about my other questions? What is the dealer discount and incentive breakdown?
Incentives factored in discount, want to save tax
So if you separate it’s around 8k discount
$15500 rebates
We understood that. How much is the discount without incentives?
Well, I can’t help you if you are unable to provide basic info. Good luck.
Around 8k in discount
$7500 lease cash rebate
Here is calc
Hope that helps.
If I separate the discount and rebates, the deal looks worst
MSRP $113650
Discount $8366.50
Rebates $15500
How does it look? I posted a calc link
Atrocious! Do yourself a huge favor and contact a broker or a dealer from the Marketplace.
You cant just pick and chose what is taxed, it is what it is for your state. Edit: appears MB lease cash isn’t taxed and is added as discount.
None of your calculators match your quote in the first post, am I missing something?
What doesn’t match? Did you look at the calc link?
Ahh, the first one you posted above did, but 2nd one didn’t. Definitely check with some brokers, seems like you can do much better.
I did tried using a broker, but it got sold:(
Here’s the car the broker offer.
Looks to me, about the same, but no broker fee.
Have another one from broker here on a demo
Amazing deal, but won’t take trade:(
MSRP $118550 (better spec)
$700 a month
$4700 due
10k miles
36 months
shipping to tri state included
$1099 broker fee (yikes)
That’s about a $840+/mo effective which isn’t bad. High broker fee probably because of included shipping. You could always private sale your trade or carmax.
Agree, sell to highest bidder. There’s no benefit of selling to same dealer as there would be if financing.
I don’t follow EQ deals closely but didn’t realize most brokers include lease cash in discount % now that I’m looking. Not a fan of this. Just make sure you are comparing apples to apples which seems like you are.
So, you guys advise me not to use my equality on a lease? I read somewhere if you use it on a trade and if you get in an accident, you won’t get back the equality
It’s just a different way of structuring the deal. Rebates are always taxed, correct me if I’m wrong
This way on this, I save taxes:)
I didn’t know about that either, each time i made a offer to dealers with the rebates done separately, they always refuse, but with this way, most of them accept.
