I wanted to get the following lease reviewed by the community. I am definitely not putting the 4K down, but wanted to see how the rest of the deal looks.

Model: 2025 Mazda CX-90 Premium sport
Are you open to, and have you compared how the PHEV leases? In recent months, it was leasing better than the ICE variants.
Open to it but havent see any big difference in both.
What’s your target offer for both?
Guessed your zip on rate finder and put together sample deal at 7% discount. Assumed 10.8% tax on monthly (may be incorrect), and just used placeholder 800 of combined dealer and gov fees (which may be a high estimate):
A lot of assumptions baked into here (e.g. that you qualify for loyalty, I kept all rebates as taxes), but appears the PHEV leases better all things constant, assuming your current deal has loyalty too.
7% discount doesn’t seem awful assuming low fees, no add ons, etc., but you would have to compare to broker offerings in your area. As you noted, you would also want to structure with just 1st (or similar) DAS.

Thank you, appreciate your detailed response and the link to the calculator. Let me check on the PHEV deals as well for comparisons.
Np. Revised sample deal (had it at 6% instead of 7). The other thing – I added MSDs. If you’re going to put money down, MSDs (if your state allows), is a good way to save on the monthly (helps over > $50/month in this case), and are refundable unless you default on your lease contract.
