Recently had my vehicle tboned by a negligent driver causing it to be totaled. Looking into starting a lease for the first time after doing a fair amount of research into all the nuances.
I negotiated my first lease this afternoon and while I can’t say I got the best deal, the fact that I got them from $320/mo to $245/mo just goes to show how much this forum has helped me. What an insane mark up!
Here’s where I’m at:
2019 Kia Optima LX
Lease Price (MSRP?): $22,750
MFR Rebate: -$6,100
Fees: $664.75
Tax: $1061.55
Drive off: $268.38 (any idea why it states $269-$279 as well?)

They stated the best they could do is around $245 before I walked out. I know this is not where I want to be, but it’s a start. Hence why I’m here to ask for help. I really enjoy the Mazda’s I looked at, but there’s such a low incentive here (<$1500) that they wanted nearly the same amount for a 2019 vs the 2020 Mazda 3 hatchback.
What I want:
Honestly, any car that is a great deal. Demo vehicles, loaners, etc are not off limits
Brands: Mazda, Kia, Toyota, Honda, even BMW considering they have great deals 
Type: Sedan or Hatchback
Year: 2019 (or 2020 but I doubt the good deals are available yet)
Location: Christiansburg, VA (24073), Blacksburg and Roanoke also work
Price: <250
