Deal Check - Kia EV9 Land

, ,

Hello - Grand Rapids, MI offer here on a Kia EV9 Land. I can’t quite make the calculator here match with what they are showing me. Any help is appreciated.

Edmunds forum says my MF is .00005, but they are quoting .0005. I suppose that is the difference, but appreciate any thoughts on how to get this into the mid-$500 range.

What is the lease cash available to you in your area? You can get it on Edmunds. Also find out if the vehicle qualifies for the $1500 summer bonus (limited to certain VINs, presumably those that have been on the lot a bit longer).

You can also ask for 10% off and see what they say.

Buy rate is .00005. They either are quoting the wrong mf or have it significantly marked up.

Do you have any documentation that says this or how do I reference it? The manager says that he can only see .0005 as the fee with my 800+ credit score. Do I just walk it hopes that it shakes him loose?

I just signed a lease on one at .00005. He either is misreading his documentation or isnt being honest.

Would you mind sending me a screenshot DM to reference?

How do they get from 9800 rebate minus 315 add-ons to a cap cost reduction of 7739.18? There will be the 650 acquisition fee. What are the other fees not listed here?

I’m in the Midwest, so expect similar programs available. Trying to make a deal on a similar MSRP Land right now.

First off, it should be .00005 MF

Also, from what I understand, Kia dealers are only allowed to ‘puff’ the MF by .0004 (read on Edmunds and my dealer confirmed that… plus one dealer who was trying to highball gave me a .00045 MF, so pretty clear it was that).

Ohio taxes are a bit funky but based on my calc, if you correct the MF, you should be around ~$540/month

Did you do anything to get them to move on that ~8% off MSRP? My dealer is at 5.5% off and won’t move… telling me they are losing money… feels so close but so far away.

Then move on to a dealer that will discount more

Here’s where I ended up landing. Funny to think this started as $3k down and $780 per month. Grateful for the education of this community.
