The incentives are built in to that automatic depreciation and there is a much smaller demand for used EVs with the incentives for new cars being so large.
Seems like 20% off MSRP pre-incentive will have to soon be the norm at the current rates of depreciation.
Which is no less arbitrary. Whatâs the difference between 80k MSRP with 50% RV and 100k MSRP with 40% RV?
Youâre pursuing a strategy which doesnât exist any more. Even in the best decade of leasing it didnât make any sense. All the best leases overestimated the RV and were underwater at the end.
Positive equity at the end of a lease just meant you overpaid over the course of the lease, exceptions being the peak of chip shortage when many things were out of whack. Sorry to break it to you but thatâs the harsh reality of what âpositive equityâ at the end of a lease usually means.
Again, how much does a 4xe depreciate from $39k vs a similarly equipped gas Wrangler selling for __?
I knew that payment was too low. This deal ainât gonna happen. They screwed up and are now jerking you around until you go away or they can talk you into a different deal.
If I overpaid during the lease period, I will get the overage back by trading in the vehicle rather than simply returning it. That would be a pleasant surprise, because I already agree to the lease payment at inception. I would not have done that if I didnât think the deal was a good value at the time.
I suspect there are going to be a huge number of off-lease Jeep 4xes for sale over the next 1-2 years which will further depress prices. If the government ever closes the $7500 loop hole for leases, they will have to cut prices by at least that much to keep moving them.
The only issue is that I contact them daily, and they inform me that they are still in the process of finalizing the arrangement with the bank, and the bank has not given its approval for the deal yet. I donât think they can give me this deal
All the incentives are taxed. Youre showing no discount. .00101 isnt the mf for any 24 wrangler 4xe trim. Youre missing almost $1000 in fees. You definitely dont have a 4% tax rate in california.
This is the actual calculator for the 24 month deal:
For 36 months, with nothing changed, this should be $399/mo
You were completely correct. They couldnât provide me with that deal. The numbers I was initially presented with turned out to be inaccurate due to a banking error, and that offer is no longer available. Consequently, I didnât end up making the purchase.
