Deal Check - IONIQ5 11,175 one pay lease 24/12 (FL)

I’m waiting for a lease broker to get back to me, but it frankly seems like they have too much work and I may not be able to wait until they are more available.

I’m being offered a 11,150 one pay Lease for a $49,720 MSRP car (only got 2k in dealer incentives) for 24 months.
Effective monthly comes to $481 when including disposition fee.

Leasehackr: 9.2 years.

Opinions?

@AutoCompanion is at $4k off.

yes, but he’s not responding

Did that too. Had someone from their team reach out and answer one text back every twelve hours. They offered me the c40, told them it works but I’d like to see how a one pay lease for a ioniq worked too and then they simply disappeared. On Sunday over pm they told me to follow up with them the next morning but also disappeared. I sent them inquiry including calculator and stock number.

This seems close to a really good deal - perhaps consider an email offering a purchase price of 46,720 which is 6% off - gets you around 10K total. The dealer fee seems reasonable. If they decline, just let them know you plan to propose the same deal to a couple more dealer and they don’t accept - you will circle back with them. I’m hoping to do something similar on an Ionic 6.

I tried very hard, I tested them saying I’d sign right away for 10,500 and they didn’t budge.

I wrote to them later saying that I want to change the deal to a different car (Limited version) and instead of 11175 offered 12k for that one hoping they increase their discount. I asked 3330 off MSRP, I don’t think they’ll do it but I think they may do 2500 which would get me at 12,500 one pay lease.

You’re working with a broker that has pre-brokered deals with dealers on the Ioniq 5. The dealers are able to move the Limited, but the SEL AWD are collecting dust on the lots.

Anyhow, if you have been trying to negotiate with a broker on pre-brokered deals, and also changing your mind on what car you want, this might be the reason that they’re not responding to you.

We just went to $4500 off msrp.

Why SEL’s collecting dust? My local spot has 32 of them.

Well, from a buying perspective, if you’re already spending $50k+, why not spend a little more to get a glass roof, surround view, HUD, better sound, ventilated seats, seat memory, etc. Plus, I believe Hyundai is building more SELs.

I have not been negotiating anything. I just asked them about what they could do in two different cars since the first time I messaged them. They got back on the volvo, they never presented one pay leases for the Ioniq.

Sorry, it just sounded like you were trying to negotiate with a broker. @AutoCompanion is a reputable broker, and they just reduced the discount by another $500 to $4500 on the Ioniq, so they’re still looking to do business. Maybe just require a little patience. SoCal brokers are at $250/mo with $2k DAS with loyalty on an Ioniq 5 SEL AWD for 24/10. My wife spends $400/mo on gas. I want to get a second one for my wife, but she got mad that I would even suggest it.

I’ve been waiting multiple days just to get the numbers of how the deal looks.
I sent them the calculator with how I think it looks like, and they haven’t answered yet. I specified the inventory number I wanted and everything.

I’m literally waiting for them to say:
“this is the deal, your one pay is X, your broker fee is Y and shipping is Z” and send them the money.

I have over 50 people inquiring about these deals in the last hour. Some are asking for quotes on 5-8 units at a time. Please be patient.

is the 12,500 one pay lease for the Limited AWD?

No, RWD but honestly I don’t care for it and wouldn’t pay the extra 3k

How do you inquire for the RWD model? I’m more interested in the RWD but I’m only seeing AWD on @AutoCompanion
