How does the following lease look? I am in St Louis MO
It is for a 2024 Hyundai Ioniq 5 SEL AWD. 36 months / 36k miles
MSRP: $53k
Discount: $2k
Rebate: $15k
Admin Fee, Other Fee, Tax: $587+ $687 + $211
Final Price: $37,485
Residual: 51% ($27,030)
MF: 0.00139
Down: $2659
Payments: $342/month (~$25 is tax)

Discount could be a little stronger, but not an unreasonable deal. Shoot for 6% discount if you can get it.

Why lease for 36 months? Both the 13 month and 24 month terms have better residuals.
It may be different for your area but I’m seeing:
36/12
.00139 MF and 50% residual
$14,000 lease cash
So at least they’re not marking up the base rate - don’t be surprised if they try to at the finance desk - they’ll mark it up .00001 if you let them.

good point. This will be my first lease and I can use any/all tips.
I have asked about 24-month lease.
I see residual of 58% and MF of 0.00115 in my area for a 24month/12k.

Happy New Year.
So I closed on the lease for 287/month. I wanted to pick up the car on the Jan 2 to save on 1 year if taxes…but they knocked off additional $500 to meet half way on taxes if i picked up the car in 2024. So I did!
