DEAL CHECK: Ioniq 5 SEL AWD Colorado

Trying to get a deal check on the above. It’s for a Ioniq 5 AWD in Colorado. This is my first lease.

So let me break down what they sent me first:
Lease 24 Months
$ Down Est. $/Monthly
$0 $346 - $356
$1,000 $299 - $309
$2,000 $253 - $263

MSRP $52,890.00
Dealer Discount $2,000.00
Foundation Price $50,890.00
Rebate $15,350.00
Installed Protections $799.00
Trade Allowance $0.00
Trade Payoff $0.00
Acquisition Fee $650.00
Dealer & Handling $699.00
Government Fee $27.20
Total Due at Signing $0.00
Residual Value $37,023.00
Residual: 70%
Money Factor .00284
12k a year/24 months

Is this a good deal? If not, what should I negotiate on?

Msrp is non-negotiable. Your discount is. $1200 discount is very poor.

The $799 installed dealer protections is eating away most of your discount. Ask for another $1000 discount and you have a decent deal.

No, this is terrible.

Thanks @max_g

How does one make it good? By increasing the discount as previously suggested? If so by how much… or in some other way.

Step 1 is always to put together a well researched target deal. That’ll tell you everything you need to know to improve this.

K. Will dive back into the forums and figure out how to do that. Thx for the advice.

Theres a good video in the leasing 101 section on the main leasehackr url that talks about it.

Are the 10k hyundai rebate and the co ev taxable or non-taxable incentives?

Is taxed.

Not too sure about this state specific rebate but this should probably go into the “POST-SALES INCENTIVES” tab at the end. Since this would be received when you file for taxes?

The CO incentive can be transferred to the dealer so ots point of sale.
