So currently talking to the dude over the phone and he gave me these numbers, how am I doing so far?
I’d love to get a broker but I feel like I’m fighting an uphill battle due to living in Texas

Updated the post with the Lease Details
In Texas and potentially struck luck on a Ioniq 5 Limited, what does LH think of this deal?
24 Month $1500 DAS for $458 a month, they told me they could take another thousand off to take it down to $430 a month
I would say “run”
Curious to know, why run? So far the best deal I’ve seen around here
It looks quite a bit worse than your first deal
Idk maybe 450 on an Ionic just strikes me as too high of a payment. With all the Ariya deals going around.
As a data point, I did $0 DAS on a ~52k msrp Ioniq for just under $300 a month over 24 months/10k miles. This was in early May
Was it in Texas and a limited trim?
Hyundai is advertising $437 a month on Limited with $3400 down plus TTL. How does this compare to your deal? I don’t know how taxes are handled in TX as there may be some tax credits available.
Based on the pic posted there must be some sales tax credits. It shows $5xx in sales tax. That’s very low for TX. Must be a 1.25% or 1.5% sales tax rate vs the standard 6.25% rate on the total sales price of the vehicle.
That is good, but I think this deal needs a better discount. It looks like the first deal was 10% discount then the second was an $11.5k discount off MSRP (on a 2023 maybe?). What happened to those deals?
When were they signed? Also keep in mind that a really aggressive deal typically involves being at the right place at the right time. Basically, finding a dealer that is motivated to move a specific VIN for a good reason. They aren’t going to discount deep unless there is something in it for them too. i.e. a volume bonus, incentive from manufacturer to move aged units, etc.
You know your stuff well…thank you
So we got them down to 346 a month after a bunch more back in forth, with 1500 DAS, which I was pretty comfortable with! I really liked the car and they were behind in the month.
They originally had me at a higher money factor which didn’t make sense when I compared it to the calculator
