Hey all, would love to hear your thoughts on the deal I’ve got so far. In Colorado, so pretty solid state incentives on top of the federal credit that are driving cost down. Anywhere you see opportunity for further savings?
For a limited with 24M/12k I don’t think there’s much else to go. Essentially $183/month
Can someone help me understand why this is so much lower than other deals here? At 183 a month, this is way cheaper than other deals that come to 266/month. What am i missing?
Colorado has some very nice state rebates that make leasing an EV very worthwhile. It is all about the state taxes and rebates on EVs right now.
Why reference a broker’s deal? The dealer discount and available incentives are not listed in the link you shared. That’s what you are missing.
You are at 4.2% off MSRP + rebates. You could try pushing for a bigger discount, but if you like the car and the deal, sign before someone in CO grabs it.
Thanks for the confirmation @RB_19 @Bluemkn57cars. Figured I had taken it where I could, but first time lessee here so I greatly appreciate the more seasoned take.
@Gaspar123, as pointed out, Colorado offers an additional $5k tax credit on top of the federal credit, which is a big chunk of the rebates. I also got lucky and had a competitive conquest rebate and some year-end cash I qualified for. I very much followed advice from folks in the forums by targeting vehicles that had been on the lot for an extended period and stayed flexible on color combinations, accessories, etc and got lucky.
The air in Colorado is going to be so clean with these $150 monthly EVs.
Solid deal, go for it , specially on a limited
That’s a great deal. I leased a $60k Limited Ioniq 5 earlier this year in CO for $6,200 one-pay and that was a great deal IMO. They had the SEL for $4,500 so this looks to be better than those deals in every way. Take it!
Good deal. Take it.
This is what I finagled last month for an SEL - 2024 Ioniq 5 SEL AWD - One pay $3102 (Oct-24)
Your quote looks solid for an LTD
Hey @mtt.hng nice deal! Would you mind listing the individual rebates you were able to get and their corresponding amounts? Looking a few Ioniq’s in CO as well and some dealers are telling me they are “not doing/don’t have” some of these rebates…
Also could someone comment as to how the taxes are so low for this deal, my tax rate is a little higher ~9.0% and the total is coming out to around ~$1900-2000 (SEL), how can it be $356 at 8.81% for a Limited? Are the rebates not taxed?
Thanks in advance for any input!
i am not able to see how this is $183/mo? is it effective monthly payment? Can some please post the link to calculator?
Yes. Effective monthly payment is one of the most used metrics on LH for deal evaluation.
4405 / 24 = 183
I tried various ways to build calculator off this available data but can’t come to DAS of 4405. How do we know the money factor on this? Would not it be 4405 = 1st month + taxes & fees?
The OP is doing a One Pay lease in which all payments, fees, and taxes are due at lease inception.
As for money factor and incentives / rebates, you can become a Super Supporter on here for $10 month or go to the appropriate forum on Edmunds and ask for your zip code.
