I asked for a 0 down, 36 mo/12k miles lease quote for a 2025 Ioniq 5 Limited. I was told there’s nothing they can do about the ceramic coating, it comes pre-installed. I don’t quite believe that, but I’m happy with the discount on the MSRP so I’ll let it slide. However, I don’t understand why I’m being charged $2,475 in taxes, since that seems much higher than the tax I’m seeing on the Edmunds lease calculator for my zip code (83714). I know how they arrived at that number, it is 6% of the sale price+fees+add-ons, but is that how they should do it? Also, the MF here is apparently 0.003, which seems high. Is that something I can negotiate? Thank you!
Look in the signed section for other posts from ID folks to see what sort of taxes they paid.
MF should be .0025 on awd, .00258 on rwd.
