Originally was looking at a normal Hummer 3x Pickup, but finding that dealers cannot move the Omega edition very well… found a dealer who seems to be very motivated. Currently live in FL.

Haven’t seen an Omega that much cheaper. Any more wiggle room you think?
Thinking about single pay to save $4600, and to write off the single pay amount as a business deduction this year. GM financial I hear includes GAP so I wouldn’t worry about accidents, etc. Hoping to maybe get them to throw some accessories if I cannot get them cheaper.
I’ll be honest, not sure what the breakdown is. The first quote was before we spoke on what I wanted for price, but I knew I was at least getting Costco rebate. The 2nd was after I sent them a screenshot of someone getting a 1099 per month before tax with 0 DAS and told them I needed that beat. Not sure how they continued to rebate it.
Not trying to be harsh, but this doesn’t work because often it’s unreasonable. Was the other quote in the same month and on the same exact model with the similar miles? Did you qualify for all incentives they did?
As for the rebate, they’re basically including $3000 loaner plus $1250 Costco + first month waived seems like.
Take a stab at the calculator, but I think discount on the Omega should be a bit deeper based ($+1000) on what I saw around the country. Few months back.
How is it unreasonable? Especially when you’re saying I should still get it for even cheaper? I literally sent them this ad on a hummer fb group. I just didn’t wanna waste their or my time so gave them a ballpark I needed to be in.
Same car, new but not a loaner, socal vs north Florida, no incentives added, and this was a few months ago.
Definitely new to this, so I really do appreciate your help! You were saying that sending them a quoted deal never works because it’s unreasonable, that’s what I was questioning to be honest.
Otherwise, I will use your advice to bring to the table today to see if they can match the deal and then add on the Costco and loaner on top of it, which would be extremely helpful.
I dont think I’m 100% committed yet as I think there is still some wiggle room to go, which seems to be validated by the few who have responded, so I appreciate it.
Any system can work sometimes. Doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the best system.
Asking for a match on a quote has so many potential pitfalls. Was that benchmark even the best deal? Do you have lower sales taxes (not just on the monthly but the upfront tax on rebates)? Did rebates improve since that deal? Higher RV? Lower MF?
Depending on so many different variables a may dealer charge you more (higher selling price) while nominally matching the quote you requested.
Better to start at the beginning. What’s the pre-rebate discount you’re targeting? Everything else can flow from there via the calculator to show what payment you should be targeting.
dont go strictly off what you see on those pages, had a buddy go through him and found the numbers to be a bit higher even with qualifying for everything.
A local dealer, has a handful of 2024 omega’s, all listed as loaners (guessing because they couldnt sell) and currently listing their sales price as $119k. Msrp of $140k. With some negations they can be had for less than their advertised sale price.
Unfortunately, these are all SUV’s. Mine Im negotiating with is a pickup with a msrp of 152k, going for 122k. Ill try to use it as some basis to get more off though, I appreciate it!
That’s at the 20% discount and where I think a good target for Omegas sell price should be. If you want to try and negotiate more you can though, you have the ball in your court with these since sales on them are not doing well, esp a new 24 model. That is and has cost the dealer a lot for many months being in inventory sitting.
Regularly see new omegas for 25k off on the hummer Facebook page. I’d imagine on a loaner there’s some more room. Omegas aren’t worth the premium price and dealers can’t sell them
