Deal Check/Help 2024 Grand Wagoneer

,

Hey Hackrs

Using @delta737h’s sheet here. The wife really wants one of these grand wagoneer’s so i did a little research on mf,rv, and incentives and right now the 2024 seems like a decent one to go after. I’m not certain if im being too aggressive or not aggressive enough as this one is a demo with 4k miles on it. Its in good shape but could use a detail. Theres another one with 5k, but this the L version she likes. Any input would be appreciated.

What is this nonsense?

Isn’t SC tax just a flat $500?

hmmmmm… a couple of things…

  1. Your numbers are way off. How do you arrive at a base payment = 762.48? Based on the data you provided, I get 688.33. However, a closer look shows that the adj. cap is wrong.
  2. What is the rebate/credits total? I get 6683.62 + 7892.87 = 14576.49 which doesn’t look right. Please itemize the rebate/credits.
  3. Don’t show this to a dealer b/c they’re going to wonder what you did… looks like there are a lot of mistakes.

at 110k MSRP it’s worth checking if getting 7.5k/10k and buying extra miles at $0.25/mile is cheaper than sacrificing residual on 12k.

Your CCR partial rebates do not match. One is 7702.35, the other is 7778.10. I suspect it should be 7778.10 which means your adj. cap should be 76316.90 yielding a base payment of 721.90. Nowhere do I see SC tax.

You are correct. Sorry im transferring over numbers from a spreadsheet on my phone. Its my understanding that there are no taxes in SC, only the IMF. Then each year you pay property tax which is the cost to get a sticker.

I assume that you’ll pay that separately from the lease. If it’s paid with the lease, you’ll need to either cap it or, pay it a lease inception.
