Deal check - Grand Cherokee 4xe Anniversary Edition in CO

, ,

Hello! Here’s a deal I’m considering pulling the trigger on and would love some feedback on. It seems to be the best I’ve gotten among multiple dealer quotes on identical vehicle.

2024 Grand Cherokee 4xe Anniversary Edition
MSRP $65,875
Dealer discount: $5,500
Rebates/Credits: $15.1k ($7.5k Federal EV credit, $5.6k State EV credit, $2k Jeep Bonus Cash)
Cash down: $0 (sign & drive)
36 months/10k miles
MF: 0.00276
Residual: 58%
Monthly payment: $646

Thanks in advance for any help!

You should wait to see if the rebates and incentives improve next month. Evidently the Jeep leasing programs are terrible at the moment.

Unfortunately, I have to pull the trigger this month. While deals may be better next month, 31.27% off MSRP is good, no?

This is terrible.

What made you conclude this vehicle can be hacked?

I don’t understand what you mean

On what basis did you conclude this is a good vehicle to lease?

This is $5500 off msrp. Dont confuse incentives for discounts.

The lease programs on this are very poor right now. This only seems less expensive because of the extra Colorado incentives.

I like my GC 4xe, but i dont think it’s worth $650/mo, especially compared to what else you can get with the CO incentives in play.

Wait a couple more days or push for a higher dealer discount. You can use CarGurus or similar apps to find out how long the vehicles have been on the dealer’s lot and accordingly push for higher discounts.

As @mllcb42 mentioned, don’t consider incentives as discounts. Technically, you are getting approximately an 8% discount on this unit.

Push for more discounts if you can wait. It’s better to wait or even target the end of the month or quarter.

If you are open to other vehicles, it’s worth considering the Mazda CX-90 (which is of same size and even come with 7 seater configuration) or even Kia’s EV9.

If you are ok with bit smaller EV’s, then look at Nissan Ariya (not sure, but you can get good deals on this), Hyundia Ioniq 5 (one pay around $4600), to do stop gap till you get amazing deal on Jeep.
