[Deal Check] Ford Lightning Lariat & Flash Black Friday | MA, Northeast

, , ,

I’m considering lease deals on two Ford Lightning models and would love your input. Here’s what I’ve been offered:

  1. 2024 Ford Lightning Lariat
  • MSRP: $79590.00
  • Discount $8041
  • Rebate $9,500
  • Lease term: 36 months
  • Mileage: 15k miles/year
  • Monthly payment: $641 (including taxes/fees/excise tax)
  • Drive-off: $0
  • Trade-in 2500
  1. 2024 Ford Lightning Flash
  • MSRP: $71,085.00
  • Discount $8041
  • Rebate $9,500
  • Lease term: 36 months
  • Mileage: 15k miles/year
  • Monthly payment: $528 (including taxes/fees/excise tax)
  • Drive-off: $0
  • Trade-in 2500

Does this seem competitive for the market? Any advice or things to look out for when leasing these models?
Thanks in advance for your feedback!

Strong discounts. Do you have conquest or private offer? Your rebate stack is $2K over national incentives (which just got juiced $2K). Seems like a good deal, for current market, given 15K miles and including ttl – although the trade-in value is hard to evaluate.

Need that D-Plan…

Op works at a dealership? That’s D plan

No… I am saying D-plan incentives makes ford Electric models much more appealing.

Maybe you mean X Plan.

D Plan is Dealership Employee
A Plan is Ford Employee
X Plan is Supplier such as club memberships
Z Plan is Ford Retired Employee

How does your payment include “excise tax”?

MA doesn’t bill that til afterwards and your town sends you the bill. Usually not included in payment.

Looks strong, What rebates are included in this deal?

I am learning that Ford does this with their leases. I did not know of this before.

They did not break down all the rebates for me but I do know they had added Ram Conquest, 2 Power Promise, RCL.

Ford leases include excise

The Ram Conquest is the extra $2K.

$3500 RCL
$2000 Power Promise
$2000 Bonus Cash
$2000 Ram Conquest

Sweet stack… No plan pricing is better then this discount. I would go with the Flash.

Curious to hear why you would do the flash over lariat. Maybe its me but I can a sucker for a sunroof and vented seats. Yes I understand the additional ~5k may not be worth it.

Does this include the Massachusetts EV rebate? (Mor-EV)

I had a 22 Lightning Lariat and now I have a 23 Lightning XLT. Did not particularly think the Lariat was worth the extra expense. The quality of the leather interior was disappointing. Most of the (few) other options don’t add functional benefit. Would opt for the Platinum, over the Lariat, which at least has the premium interior. If my budget could stretch to $650/mo – I would also have to seriously consider the Rivian R1T. IMO, the Lightning’s biggest advantage is it’s value.

That’s post sale for $7500

This does not include the rebate.

Meant D-plan. Was going off of what I qualify for. Was recently pricing these for myself.

Lucky that you get d plan, thats good pricing

Not true. Honda financial rolls the excise tax into some of your payments. The state doesn’t bill you for excise if you lease with Honda.
