So I think the dealer’s website has an error that is giving $7,500 as both a discount and again as a rebate/incentive. I can make the transaction on line, but I’m assuming it will get caught before it is approved:

There’s likely something in the disclaimer about a refusal to honor errors. You’re wasting your time.

That’s not necessarily an error. Lots of cars with big discounts before incentives are applied.

Although more than $5,000 off hasn’t happened before AFAIK.

And nothing termed “retail” usually applies to leases.

Unlikely it would go through - but you can certainly try. Or just reach out to the dealer to have them quote a deal and confirm what the best is they can do for you. It’s close to the end of the quarter.
