Deal check – first lease, short-term (~24 months), Audi Q5e and Jeep GC L

Hi everyone,
This will be my first lease, and I’m looking for some feedback on two deals I’m considering. I know these are very different vehicles, but my hard requirement is that I do not want to lease longer than ~24 months, even if that means a higher monthly.

Deal 1: Audi Q5e (NY dealer – Leasehackr pre-negotiated)
Vehicle: 2024 Audi Q5 S line Premium Plus 55 TFSI e quattro
Dealer: NY (vehicle shipped and registered in MI)
Source: Leasehackr pre-negotiated deal
Lease terms:
Term: 24 months
Mileage: 7,500 miles/year → $425/month OR 10,000 miles/year → $466/month (additional miles at $0.20/mile)
Money Factor: 0.00300 (~7.2% APR) - Dealer indicated this MF is Audi Financial’s program rate
Residual: 58% ($40,310)
MSRP: $69,500
Selling price: $44,420 (~36% off MSRP)
DAS: $2,748.75 (1st payment, taxes, standard upfront fees)
MI DMV / registration: $812.50
Shipping NY → MI: ~$850
Total upfront out-of-pocket: ~$4,410
Effective Monthly Cost: $573 (without shipping cost)
Questions on the Audi deal
Apparently, the MF is from Audi directly with no markups, this seems really high even for someone with top-tier credit, but does the very aggressive selling price discount effectively offset this?
Is this simply how Audi is pricing short-term leases right now?

Deal 2: Jeep Grand Cherokee L 4x4 (MI dealer)
Dealer: Local Michigan dealer
MSRP: $48,335
Rebates: ~$7,000
Lease Terms: Initially started with 42 months and negotiated to 27 months
Term: 42 months
7,500 miles: $401–$420/month
10,000 miles: $412–$432/month
DAS: ~$3,900 (1st payment, taxes, standard upfront fees + Registration)
After requesting shorter term
Term: 27 months
Payment: $441/month
DAS: ~$3,900 (1st payment, taxes, standard upfront fees + Registration)
Effective Monthly Cost: $585
I do not yet have MF, residual, or program details for the Jeep lease yet.
The only reason I’m considering the Jeep is:
Shorter effective term (vs 42 months)
7-seat / 3rd-row capability

Looking for feedback on:
Whether the Audi MF + discount tradeoff makes sense in today’s Audi programs
If the 27-month Jeep GC L looks reasonable without MF/residual details, or if that’s a red flag

Learn how to use tools to put your own TARGET payment/DAS together first…best way is to put your own spreadsheet together or use the calc here:

PS, you can get MF/RV info at Edmunds lease forums for year make model.

Or you can sign up to be a super supporter for a nominal fee.

Then you can get all the rebates and money factors offered by the manufacturers.

Honestly learning how leases work and to use the calculator to find a great deal is going to be a challenge with only 6 days left in the year.

But if you can get desperate dealer to give you a huge discount to move a unit by Jan 1-5 and take a huge loss then you can score a decent lease at Year End

Can you survive with a Q4 e-tron?

Need to stay away from EV for now; curious on the deal though.

Better stay curious then.

You’re looking at the Q5 so you don’t need 3 rows. You’re looking at Jeep so you don’t need a pretentious badge. But why are you looking at two random unhackable cars?

Pretty sure Tucson, Sportage, etc lease for way less than either one.
