Hi all,

I received the attached quote from my local Mercedes dealership and I cannot seem to square their quote with the LH calculator or my hours of trying to do it manually. Is their quote missing some fees? Also, they told me the appearance and dent protection is mandatory. That’s BS, right? The calculator with zero down shows a lower payment then their payment with 3k down.

MSRP- 66690
Selling Price- 55588
Tax- 5781
Term- 36
Miles - 10000
MF- .00135
Residual- 49%

Thank you so much for you help. What questions should I ask the dealer?

It appears that they are selling that car to you at MSRP. I haven’t looked at recent EQB300 deals, but isn’t that… awful?

terrible…only $2500 off after $10k in incentives? AND $1400 in add ons?

Check the Marketplace for California. Get it shippped or at the very least you’ll have a much better idea of pricing.

Hmmm so the $55,580 selling price is not the actual the price? They are selling at MSRP and applying incentives on the back end? Thanks for the help.

Here is a mark up of the calculator- about the same monthly payment with zero down.

Darn… I felt like $12.5k off was pretty good… The addons definitely seem ridiculous

It is… But that amount includes $2.5K AMEX and $7.5K EV rebate. I miscalculated. @forbs is correct; it’s $2500 off MSRP.

Those incentives don’t come out of the dealer’s pockets, so you should look at pre-incentive discount to get a better sense of what kind of deal you’re being offered.

I think i’m following now- the “AutoNation Price” is inclusive of the 7.5k EV rebate. So total discounts are 2.5k amex, 7.5k ev rebate, and 2.5k markdown. Then they add back 1.4k in fluff. This is a bad deal!
