Deal Check: CPO Porsche Macan 2020

Hello,

Calculator below for a CPO Porsche Macan 2020, miles: 4,500. Original MSRP: 62,690
zip: 10036

Thanks

Very little there is correct. The RV seems made up and the RV is based off the selling price, while it should be based off of the MSRP and does not adjust for the miles.

how does that work when we calculate miles on pre owned? i was given $35,150 from the dealer as the Residual.
his monthly payment came out to $725, about the closest i can get given the #'s he gave me.

Ask if they are using PFS or a third party. That RV would only be in the right realm of being correct for a 12 or 18 month lease. Even the third party bank I use is not close to that. Your dealer is probably looking at 2021 values. And the RV should be the percentage times the MSRP or if they give you a dollar figure, the figure divide by the MSRP to get a percentage.

Thanks, i was able to calculate what you said and got something similar, what do you think?

Looks a lot better, but you should ask the dealer to confirm the residual value since that is no where close to what a 2020 should be. Also, the discount is not fantastic for a 2020. A certain broker on here could probably get you the same payment on a new 21 and a significantly better payment on a loaner 20.

Dealer: Since its a certified pre owned, they do not use percentage. $35,150 is the residual

I agree $725 is high for a 2020 CPO, what range do you think I should be in?

We can beat it!

I see what they are doing now. PFS has CPO lease programs where the RV is based off a complicated formula. I usually do not look at that since it does not make sense to CPO a 2020 that is being leased. By the time you turn in the lease, the CPO warranty is just about to start. It seems like @AutoCompanion can beat that price if that gives you any indication.

Thanks for the info. I agree with your assessment on the CPO for the lease, warranty is just about ready to kick in.

i asked to get the price closer to $560 per month. Response was the car would have to sell around $49k which was not doable.

I am not going to get into the pricing itself. There are brokers on this forum that can handle it.
