Deal check - Chevy equinox EV

Hi - need some help on this deal that I was proposed from dealer today

I know it is missing some vital information but I informed them to assume t1 finance and residual should be 78% based on calculator

I plan to roll in some negative into this but hoping to get a good car sale first

Rebates included:
Costco
Conquest
Supplier (American Express)

I plan to also go for $500 card sign up, but not guaranteed

Thanks in advance

Doesn’t look very promising.

yea pretty crappy discount, good rebates. you should be able to do way better than this

Where can I do better? You are mentioning discount — what would be a reasonable discount to ask for

at the very least 8%.

Reach out to Randy @ Simpson Chevy in Irvine. He’ll hook you up with a much better deal than this.

Do they ship as I live in AZ?

You can call and check. I picked up a sub $3k 1-pay on a 2 year 10k/24 lease from him recently.

What was the MSRP and which incentives did you stack? What discount are they giving off MSRP? When you say recently do you mean in the last month?

Just find a cheap flight to OC and drive it back.

Jesus this is bad.

Come pickup or get shipped to AZ. I can do out of state deals.

No CC:
$5695 + $899 broker fee for 24/15k one pay.
$1K due at signing + $899 broker fee for a payment of $242 with 15K miles.

If you do CC:
$5195 + $899 broker fee for 24/15k one pay.
$1K due at signing + $899 broker fee for a payment of $219 with 15K miles.

Even with transport and shipping I save you a lot of $$.

Unironically right after posting this I got like 3 more calls with way better deals lol — will update with new deals … I’ll also look into your deal and see what shipping would cost

April, 44k, can’t recall the discount% but the 1-pay was better than anything close in CA. Stacked Costco, competitor, supplier.

This is a competing deal that I am also working out —

Lates request was to remove dealer add ons and that should move the note 50-60 at least closer to 300-310

Can you help see where I can improve here

You should look into $6,850 of available rebates -
$1750 - Lease Cash available for all
$1500 conquest - if you have a non-GM lease
$1000 for having a car lease in your household
$1250 Costco Exec rebate or $1000 if Gold member
$500 GM Card
$1000 GM Supplier - if you employer qualifies

Also, look at the market place deal shared - that deal is for a trim with ~$8k more MSRP and still much cheaper than what you are being offered. And why is the sales tax so high? Doesn’t AZ only charge sales tax on the monthly pmt?

This is the shittiest spec - should be like 200/mo with minimal drive offs (looks like savings includes discount and incentives?)

I think LT models have much higher MF than do other models. How much negative equity are you rolling in?

For OP - bouncing off of this there’s not much reason to consider a $35k Equinox. At least get a conv pack 1 car that gets the $1750 standard LT rebate. The base $35k cars don’t get that money. Pricing should end up pretty similar and you’ll get a much nicer car

This is such a shit deal that’s $2500 true “discount” rate looks marked up and that’s a beyond poverty spec.

Shoot me a text 949-775-1714. My equinox deals are ridiculous.

assuming $2500 in your own rebates + $1750 base rebate you’d be at $899 due at signing (broker fee) + $268 pm with everything included

I dont see why youre shopping dealers if its ineffective when there’s a significantly better offer and I can charge you $899 and buy my cat a new cat tower…

Holy just realized there is about $2,500 in random dealer crap adds too so effectively $0 discount. Borderline hilarious
