Looking into a Cadillac Vistiq in NJ best Offer I have currently is
6000 in rebates
Costco Exec
Conquest
Courtesy Vehicle
Before I commit to this wanted a Deal Check from anyone in the North East On this
3995 At Signing + 655 First Month
24 months 10k miles
For a Vistiq Lux With Captains Chairs
80910 Sticker
Does this seem reasonable for the area or has anyone gotten better … contacted over 10 dealers no luck so far on besting this or getting close to some of the 10% off deals ive seen on here
So effective 847 a month…6% discount seems pretty weak on an EV these days (I don’t know Caddy’s tho)…expand your search area and I’d target at least 10%…BMW EV’s are seeing 10-13% these days off MSRP.
Try to look at some of the Cadillac Vistiq SIGNED deals on here recently.
Is the total of all your lease payments close to what they got, if you consider their deals good or great?
They are really willing to negotiate on loaner vehicles from my experience recently.
Just make sure you come in with solid target lease numbers for yourself:
duration (24/36/etc.)
mileage (10k, 12k, 15k, etc.)
$0 down (or whatever you’re comfortable giving)
monthly lease price (all-inclusive of taxes and fees)
The idea is to give them something to work down to…make sure they provide you a copy of the offer sheet or take a picture of it.
If they can’t meet your target, simply say thanks and let them know you’re off to the next Cadillac dealer in the area.
It’s likely they will try to bring you back or keep you there if they believe you’re serious about signing that day.
If they’re desperate enough (which I think they are now) to move some of those vehicles off the lot, you will get your target and a great deal.
Also, try to be realistic in setting your goals.
Maybe I’m mistaken, but if you can get an 8+ leasehackr score (given your vehicle’s trim level MSRP and any add-ons, they offer some insurances like excess wear and tear at signing) seems like a decent deal for an $80k+ MSRP full EV SUV, minimal maintenance and full 3-yr of OnStar, SuperCruise and Sirius services included.
And if they’re feeling generous, you might even ask and receive some EVgo credits or dealer accessories that you want with the vehicle.
Keep in mind that GM has been subsidizing RV and MF in lieu of huge cash incentives (in some cases they are doing both), whereas other manufacturers have been using cash discounts. So the pre-incentive discount is only a good comparison for identical models.
That being said, the four main levers - MF, RV, Pre-Incentive Discount, Incentives - in combination can help you determine what car is a better relative deal.
In GM’s case, I can tell you that 10% pre-incentive is extremely strong and will typically represent a loss to the dealer that they will have to make up with unit bonuses, etc. But you can always try, and see if a dealer either meets it or counters you back. Some may just ignore you, but that’s ok. You just move on.
Did you qualify for the 2k rebate on owning or leasing a non GM auto?
Also. I love the Vistiq aside GM doing the dumbest thing ever and using the lyric / blazer body and battery on a bigger more expensive car.
GM puts a billion kw battery in the Escalade/Silverado Hummer EV etc. And throws the smallest battery of all larger premium SUVs in the Vistiq. Fucking idiots.
Ok rant over.
But if you are looking for a 3 row and shopping a better price. Kia EV9 performance and Hyundai ioniq 9 both lease out better. The ioniq also has nearly 10% bigger battery, again stupid on you GM (Ok I promise rant over)
You could also explore the polestar 3 as an option.
Just some other ideas that you might want or not want to consider staying in a full size SUV with 3 row potential for less $
Added GM Card to it for $500 … anyone know clearly how the rewards on this card work and if theyre worth anything other than getting that additional 500 at sign up and use
