If you’re planning to lease the Audi, you’ll be pretty much stuck with it to term . You can’t swap out of Audi . Well you can but you’ll remain liable for the entire lease .

$61k msrp on an M440i GC sounds to me like a pretty base spec car. I assume you’ve seen the options on it and are happy?

Unlike BMW, when you transfer an Audi lease, you remain liable in the event the person you transfer it to defaults.

That makes Audi a non-starter since you’ll remain liable after a transfer.
Also doesn’t make sense to put money down on a BMW or whatever you ultimately choose. Just do first month DAS.

The $2500 for BMW/Audi both is drive-off cost. That should include first month payment, taxes + dmv registration if I’m not mistaken.
Anything can be rolled into the monthly payment, credit permitting.
ehh the color is not my first choice but since I plan to sell towards the end of the year, I can live with that. Options wise, it lacks power seats (chip shortage) and the harman kardon (chip shortage again). Besides that, shadowline package. Not sure what else to look out for at that msrp

I don’t see how you can even compare an M440 to an A5, a 430i series sure but definitely not an M440. Grab the BMW you will not be disappointed based on your factors.
No question…m440 over the A5 especially with a cheaper monthly, albeit a demo.

Definitely the M440i. Not a fan of the looks but I’d get the car for the engine alone vs the 4 banger in the A5

Based on my personal preferences and what I’ve gathered you’re looking for based on your posts… definitely go with the Beamer. The A5 doesn’t seem attractive at all.

That might be a deal breaker for a lot of people if you want to transfer out of this car. Maybe the reason for the discount.
There’s a few reasons for the discount. If OP doesn’t take it, someone else will and they’ll enjoy it.
