Deal Check - BMW iX in TX

Is this a good deal on a 2024 iX 50

MSRP $99,195
Sell Price $81,295
Lease 36months/10k per year

For context, I sold my X3 lease to the dealership today. They are including this sale in the rate sheet, not sure how to include this in the calculation. I offered $2k down, $800 month incl tax while I was there. I heard back a few hours later they could not come close, said they can “assist with another $1,300.” I asked to have the Appearance and Dent Protection removed, they said “it’s been added to the vehicle and took that into consideration with huge discount.” I offered to put down MSD’s to get close to my number… crickets.

Where can I ask dealer to reduce or remove numbers.
I have a Tesla scheduled for delivery this Friday so looking to move quick. Wife likes the iX better since we’ve leased several bimmers and comfortable with them.
Thanks!

We can beat that deal but you’ll need to custom order or we can try for a locate.

Wouldn’t the Tesla be much less expensive to lease? If money is not the concern, just get what the wife likes best. Do you know what MF they are charging you as a loyal customer? The two add-ones are costing you about an extra $40 a month it seems.

And why don’t BMW dealers ever include the acquisition fee in the total cost? It is always buried somewhere in the final payment number.

You need to remove the add ons for sure to start.

Also, since you’re in Texas you should be able to get tax credits which will take your sales tax below $1000 at 1.0 - 1.5% tax rate.

One-pay is also a great option since you have all the trade equity available. If they don’t markup the buy rate, the effective apr is less than 1%.

Spoke with a manager, best they could do with five MSDs is $5k down and $960 monthly incl tax. This payment is comparable to a Tesla X payment which I am not looking for, sticking with Model Y lease at $500 month.
BMW will have to wait until my Tesla lease is up.

Thanks all for your help!

Y Base in no way compares to iX.
Maybe close to a Q4 40 (rwd)

Even the LR (Which at least gets within 100 miles true range of the iX) pencils in fairly ugly…
