Deal check bmw 2024 x5 10% off msrp

,

Here is the offer I got for a 2024 bmw x5 40i

The msrp is $83145
10% off msrp (including rebates)
$8500 down from my trade value
$1000 deposit down
All season mats included

It was factory built to order.

The x5 is pretty loaded up. It just seems off to be having a $1200 a month payment.

Is this deal good?

What’s the discount before any incentives?
You’re trading something in that you have equity?
Post a deal sheet

The deal looks horrendous, but at least it’s got those all season mats included!

With the huge down payment (a no no) your effective payment is almost $1500/mo. So you’re spending $53k to drive an $83k X5 for 3 years then give it back.

The discount % after rebates is meaningless, as noted you need to figure out the discount % before any rebates. And of course the MF, which I’m sure is marked up.

Are you saying there is 8500 in trade equity here?

Post your calc link for review.

These dealers really take us for fools.

$6551.00. Before $500 military and $1000 for bmw apr

Yes the $8500 is trade value from my old car

I was going to finance it. BMW 2.99%

This is a finance deal quote?

Yes. For financing

Got it. Post your best attempt at the finance calc. Deal looks a little better being it’s a finance deal. You didn’t state that or any of the details. For e.g , how many months the deal is for, APR etc. Post the calc sans trade in value.

If its a finance its a pretty fixed formula LOL

Its an 83k car.

Then what’s the surprise if you’re financing. High MSRP and high interest rates. I’d make sure that your trade in is not being undervalued by going to carvana, vroom etc.

2.99% over 60 months is a pretty good rate right now.

Would leasing be a better deal and if so how would a good/decent lease deal look?

BMW IX has a much more favorable lease program, can be found at greater discounts and has substantially more rebates as compared to X5. MB EQE and EQS SUVs also lease very well right now. If you want an X5, best deal would be on loaners, or find a one year old CPO. Have you browsed the offers in Marketplace ?

Not on the X5. Probably the best seeling SAV, along with the X3 in BMW’s lineup. If you want an X5 and are getting a 10% off discount + base MF, then why not finance it (if you can afford the payments)?
