Deal check: BMW 2024 230i, 43895 sale price, 0 Down ,724/month

,

Hey everyone, pretty new to this forum and to leasing. Looking to get a new 2024 230i with M-sport and have been working with a dealer here Bay Area, CA which provided me best yet compare to others.

$47,495 MSRP
36 Months, 7.5k/year

I have tried to put number in calculator here. I couldn’t quite get the calculator to show the same numbers but its close.

Latest offer from dealer is 724/month. I wanted to see what is opinion of experts in this forum.

Wow is that 3 year 7,500 per annum miles resid of 55% the latest from BMWFS?

.00210 and 55%
according to Edmunds.
The residual is right but they are marking up the money factor.
Edit:
That costs an extra $31/month for the markup.

I have not been following the market for a 2 series, but I can’t see how this car is worth this payment.

Why this car? Are you open to other models or brands?

Wow… I just cannot fathom how the BMW i4 with the fed $7,500 rebate and a significant discounts off of MSRP could have the same resid as a ICE 230i M-Sport. ICE leases are just absolutely terrible right now… BMWFS must be pushing as much lending capital into EV as possible.

I feel like OP should just buy/loan-finance this thing.

Thats what I have been told from dealer.

I have MPV/Van and was looking for coupe or small car that can fit in my tandem garage and also give bit fun to drive with better mpg.

If you can swing it the M240 is a blast! Esp the iX version!

just buy a miata or GR86, unless you need the BMW (and buy it)

Have you test driven one?

For what it’s worth, I can do 8% off with base MF and save you a bunch of money on this.

OP just needs to decide how much they want to pay for a 2 series.

Not yet . Don’t have anything nearby so planning to go over weekend and test drive. I was deciding between tesla model 3 and this one. Did test drive for model 3 but did not like their interior. I need to put a car seat so anything 2 seater will not work.

I think it’s important to test drive before you start getting numbers. Sometimes, I have people asking about all different cars and models when they haven’t test driven them at all.

If you’re dead set on leasing this car, then at the very least call @AutoCompanion.

Though, as others have said, leasing this car seems like a terrible financial decision considering the payment vs the car. Good luck!

Youre in CA, autopilot would be nice to have in traffic if you have a place to charge it.

Either way dont take this offer.
