Deal Check: Audi S3 $657/month $3000 DAS

,

This is how I get the numbers to line up. New calc link Here

Iā€™m seeing .003

In rateFindr for 01826 zip? For 2023 S3 P+?

not rateFindr

Ah ok, gotcha. This is odd tbh.

You have a new '22 and CPO '22 ā€œcloseā€ to you if you are in NE. If looking long term on a finance deal, beat them down on MSRP as a '22 dog, get all incentives/rebates (new), use their bank financing and ask for some of that spiff back to you from the bank, then refi with one of the broken CUs courtesy of LH.

If leasing is the only option, you might also be able to get a great deal as well on that new '22 in NY if they are motivated to get the '22 off the lot and the '22 still has a good RV, MF and incentives.

The small difference between .00274 and .00300 doesnā€™t change how bad the deal is.

I agree, it doesnā€™t. With his selling price, to be at 657/mo/3000 DAS, MF must be marked up to the max and dealer fee must be like 1K.

Iā€™m not sure how tall you are, but I would strongly suggest sitting in an A3 and going for an extended test drive (if you have not already done so). Also check out the S4. I had a '18 A4, and it felt cramped - Iā€™m only 5ft9.

As for the numbers, you could ask for a bigger discount but I doubt the dealer is going to agree. You could add Audicare, which would bump the residual by 1%.

Good luck.

Is that because the MF is already high? I wonder how else this deal could get better?

Sorry, I donā€™t get it?

I am 5ā€™9" and drive a RS3 for the DD/hoonability/sleeper factors. I agree that it certainly is not as roomy as my S4 was (and neither the RS3 or S4 are/were roomy in general), but even though it isnā€™t that big inside it still works as a DD and for longer drives as well.

I wouldnā€™t want to be hauling people, kids, carseats and all kinds of shizz in it though for sure.

Have you looked at bmws? nyclife has 22 demo 530 xiā€™s for roughly the same price as your s3. Larger car with some more features

Sorry, I am being snarky. That was supposed to mean you should just walk away. Some cars at a particular point in time just donā€™t make the best candidates.

Lol itā€™s ok, Iā€™m not the most intuitive person

And we are meme heavy here

Lined up toā€¦ what? The dealer is quoting you $657/m with $3,000 DAS correct? Thatā€™s not what your calculator shows.

The MF is really high and the RV isnā€™t. You need a really good combination of 4 variables to make a good lease and that just doesnā€™t exist here.

MSD would be icing on the cake but you donā€™t have a cake.

Haha I get it, I also love the S3 so itā€™s a hard no when others tell you to get another car.
Do some calculation see if finance makes sense.
But its not a bad lease deal per se for S3, the discount is solid.

Salesperson claims that the $3000 covers all fees, title, registration AND cap cost reduction, however I havenā€™t seen any paperwork yet.
