Deal Check: Audi Q8 Etron Prestige Launch NY

, ,

Hello all, Tried multiple dealers within a 200 mile range of Ny and 8% off MSRP was the best I could get for the trim that I wanted on in stock vehicles. Thoughts? Thanks.

Have you checked with any of the NY brokers to see if they can do better? Also, expand your search to 500 miles. The cost to have the car shipped might be worth it for the savings.

The latest broker listing has P+ for $2,000 DAS and 611 + tax.

It’s not someone who sells to NY but just for reference.

The quote in the first post is terrible in comparison.

This isn’t available to NY customers, but it’s not far from you and will give you an idea of what else is out there.

I’m assuming it’s a P+ because they generally lease better.

If getting a Prestige is important to you, be prepared to pay a healthy premium to drive around with mink cupholders and the onboard fax machine.

No NY brokers could do better on the Launch edition on dealer lots. Will look at expanding range of search, thanks.

Having had this car in prestige , it’s worth some extra money, pretty incred, quieter, auto close doors, massage seats, matrix projection headlights, and more

I’m sure that’s true for some.

I’m on the opposite end of the spectrum, and place almost no value on options.

The only one on my Audi P+ is $595 for a paint color that isn’t Ibis White.

It’s begging for a better audio system, and adaptive cruise would be nice (a handful of times a year), but I don’t spend that much time in the car.

I just got a P+ at 83k for 670/mo with 3k das including Audi care (which is 1200, but it bumps your residual by 1% making the effective cost closer to $450, spread out in your payments for very minimal added cost). Is the launch model worth an extra $200/mo plus double the cash down?

Wasn’t that a few months ago? Things do change of course.

A little over a month ago; the programs are the same as they were. The Prestige leases as poorly now as it did back then, due to a 6-8k higher sticker price, lower RV than the P+, and it also seems like dealers are discounting it closer to 8% rather than 10-13% because it feels more exclusive or whatever. But basically same car for $200/mo more - you do get massaging seats, which is cool, I guess…
