I was hoping to be closer to $23000 all in honestly, but what do you all think? I would ideally like AudiCare to be included as well.

The Q6 is discussed pretty frequently here. You need to distinguish which part of the discount is pre-incentive/-rebate vs. only from the incentive/rebates.

If the pre-incentive/-discount is solid, I don’t think you’re going to hit your target, given the TX tax situation (and the $1K add-on isn’t helping).

Oops - thank you for correcting. $4817 is pre-incentive, $10000 (2500+7500 EV) is the incentive/rebates. Today they have come down to $24000 all in - $667 effectively per month including Audicare.

I have no idea what “Permaplate” is but it sounds like a dealer-added accessory. If you did not request this add-on, you can ask to have it removed from your quote. There is a Texas state law, the DTPA, Deceptive Trade Practices–Consumer Protection Act (DTPA), that protects consumers from fraudulent practices by car dealerships. Dealers are obligated to remove add-ons if you did not request them. If they do not and you keep a good paper trail after the purchase, you can sue them for triple damages.

I pointed out to a recent dealer that I could sue them if they did not remove their sleazy add-ons, and they snidely replied that “we don’t have to sell you the car to begin with”. Like they’re doing me a favor?

Ask for a sales tax credit! Adding this to your deal will get you where you want to be. Dealers are willing to do this because it doesn’t impact their profit margin since the tax credits are supplied by the finance arms. Do a search for a write-up I posted here that explains how it works in Texas.
