Deal Check - Audi Q3 2024 45 S Line

Hi All -

Have an existing 2021 Q3 S Line Premium lease coming to an end (36/10 and extended 6 months) and trying to negotiate a new lease on a 2024 Q3. Existing lease deal check was done using this forum, so thanks for the help!

I received a +$5k offer vs. the residual ($26k vs. $21.1k) from CarMax and have shopped a few dealers so far with little success getting much of that equity applied.

Attached is the latest deal I was offered for a 36/10 term - lease comes in at $598/month according to the dealership after $2.5k customer cash and $1k from my trade-in. However, I entered the terms with a 60% residual and .00211 MF as I secured from Edmunds and the leasehackr calculator shows $471/month. Am I missing something? Calculator here.

Dealership said they’re using 60% and .00201 so I’d love some help!

How much money do they actually want out of your pocket? $3,500?

I think the dealer is saying you’re paying $2,500 cash plus $1,000 trade in equity = $3,500 paid at signing to drive off with the car? If so, I think the down payment amount is less since they’re somehow having you pay the first month as well in the $2,500 cash from you.

So, maybe this version of the calculator is more aligned with what they’re asking you to do. @delta737h will probably tell me what I did wrong later haha.

But that dealer fee seems outrageous. Not sure where you got those figures from.
