First-time Leasee…so happy to have found this site! I’m looking at a 2025 BMW i4 M50 and would really like TBII with fiber trim and a few other specifics. Found the exact car at a dealer NOT in my region, and although the Brokers I spoke with were incredibly helpful, neither can get this car and the options they do have require me to compromise a bit (which may totally be the thing to do. Here’s the deal the dealer is offering…would love any feedback from those a lot more experienced than I am!! I’m retired Navy and get the $500…but don’t seem to qualify for loyalty or conquest. Trying to work the numbers compared to the BMWUSA Lease offer for M50 ($539/month for 36/10 with almost 5K cap reduction) but can’t get it to line up.
Give an attempt at the calculator with your numbers. Also, is this a 2025? Not following this market but doesn’t seem like a great deal. They are giving you 5.6% pre-incentive. Check Marketplace to see what brokers/others have gotten for their vehicle
Thanks- yes 2025. Tried the LH calculator and tried to duplicate this deal in the calculator…I get a monthly payment of $806…have not been able to figure what the difference is between the Dealers’ $824
I have engaged multiple Brokers. They are not able to get this specific car and not able to do custom build until 2026 allocations and MSRP is released…so my decisions is really to either a) compromise and take a different color/options than what I really want or B) trying to get the best deal possible from the Dealer that currently has the exact car. Unfortunately for my taste…there is but ONE
so if your heart is set on the vehicle, then the heart wants what it wants,
-if not, I would reconsider your approach because thats a lot of money for this vehicle. personally wouldn’t pay that much and would shoot of 10% off MSRP at least. Not sure if its possible.
It’s a bad deal. If you heart is set on a single car and the dealer knows it, they have you over a barrel. Pretty sure they can give you closer to 10% discount off MSRP, that seems to be the standard for current year BMWs.
You will also save money in terms of total lease cost by swapping your down payment to MSDs.
But yeah, your target with 0 down, fees DAS, should be 650-750/mo for this car. So, you’re overpaying by a lot.
Thanks!! Definitely considering other options. A Broker is offering me similar but slightly lower spec’d M50 ($77K MSRP) with transport included to my state (I have no idea what this typically costs), 3yr/12k, $3600 drive off…STILL at $840 per month. That’s what brought me here…was confused that broker deal didnt seem that much better than dealer…
I’d have to see if it’s a May or a June allocation, but BMW is generally price-protecting orders already allocated to dealerships. Orders typically take 2 months. Where are you located? South Florida or elsewhere?
Make the dealer a counteroffer without the $5K DAS. You should be able to get closer to 10% discount, so that another $3K discount. Hopefully they meet you in the middle and you get the exact car you want.
Thanks all- some “new” info and not sure what to do next. Last night a new Broker reached out, had a 2025 build allocation, and presented a great offer (it was the 10% of MSRP and minimal DAS outside of fees and first month). Catch was that BMW Lease incentives were “likely changing significantly” and I had to get the credit app (and broker payment) done before midnight last night. I checked and the BMW USA website did say the lease specifics were good through APR 30th. I paid the fee and submitted the credit check, got the acknowledgement it was received…and went to bed. Woke up this AM to an email saying the credit app was denied for “unspecified reasons” (my credit score is around 790 or so). Also had an auto-email from the Dealer I was instructed to select for the credit app saying they would reach out today. This AM…they reached out…and had absolutely no clue about me or my deal, and said I needed to fill out a different credit app for them. Mind you…I would NOT be posting all this here if I had received ANY updates from the Broker on what the situation is in the last 8 hours. So not really sure what to do…I’m afraid to call the Dealer directly for fear I might talk to the wrong person and mess up the deal…but I can’t get the Broker to respond so not sure what other options I have?
Have received zero of them. Were they responses to the ones I sent you? I asked what I should do with respect to the dealer rep that was asking me to fill out the new credit app.
